Best cards for insurance premiums

Axis in their recent devaluation attempt removed insurance premiums from any cashback/reward category probably for all their CCs (including Ace and Freecharge Plus). Now then which cards are best for insurance premiums after that?

I received 10 days before for the freecharge plus credit card, only for lic premium, now it's useless, if i surrender it will my credit score gets effected?

Freecharge Plus might not be devaluated. You can check as you have the card. But I heard credit card option to pay premiums is gone from the app but it is on the website. A user reported that you can't pay LIC premium with CCs even on website. You can check what can you do with it.

Will check and see, if any updated info will share in this thread

See the only problem here is statement category check- If it shows the insurance company's name then u get no rewards..

If it shows payment gateway name like RazorPay, APay, bpay cpay etc... Then u get base rp/online rp
Depends on the card - ICICI Coral doesn't give u higher RP on online spends, at the same time SBI CashBack, HDFC MoneyBack etc gives u higher RP for online spend... So take any these cards

SBI Cashback gives 1% back for premiums right? Which card gives more than 1% for premiums?

Axis freecharge is still acceptable for Insurance premium payment. But, now they are charging 1.18% charge. It means, net Cashback of 3.82%. Still a better deal. I tried for HDFC Life premium payment.

Have you used their app or website for the transaction? A user reported that CCs are not accepted for insurance premiums in app but accepted in website.

Use amazon pay credit card for lic payments, you will get 2% cashback, also if you have HDFC Easyshop platinum debit card, make your credit card payment from that debit card, you will get 1% more, so your reward rate go upto 3% which i guess is not bad.
Wait I thought LIC premiums with ICICI Amazon pay though amazon gives 1% CB

Amazon pay ICICI is the best one in the cashback if it comes to insurance premium payment. 2% flat cashback in form of amazon pay cash balance would be great.

How 2%? 1% right? 2% only for APay select brands
