Depends on fuel station near you
If it's dynamic go for amex gold .
Else for
Iocl - RBL , axis
HPCL - idfc power , icici hpcl
BPCL - sbi octane

You have two good options
- Buy IOCL fuel vouchers via Park Plus using SBI cashback card
- Get RBL Indian Oil XTRA credit card

HPCL SUPER SAVER.

Do Payments by adding 400 per Txn in HP Pay using Paytm Gateway and When you calculate Return it will be 7% Real Cash.

How it is 7% Do it yourself then You will Understand automatically.

See the Screenshot and Calculate the Return.
I also got 1.5% i.e Rs.6 in the Form of Happy Coins
@VISHESH_BANSAL please explain this trick I have HDFC DCB can I use this?

AMEX Gold offers the highest CB% for fuel compared to any other CC. All you need to do is hit their goal of ₹6,000 (6 transactions of ₹1,000) per month, which will give you an extra 1,000 bonus points. AMEX also has a 0% fuel surcharge at HPCL petrol pumps for transactions under ₹5,000.

Fuel cards are not worth the hassle they are mostly hit or miss and very cumbersome to raise requests everytime for points. Instead take a card which gives milestone benefits. Like I use PSB SBI Prime for fuel spending and get 1000 Pizza Hut voucher every quarter for 50,000 spends.

I support this idea.

Of using your own milestones based CC instead of a dedicated fuel card. It's a hassle to keep track.

I had 2 fuel cards earlier, and now Kotak IOCL RuPay card. Since taking this card, my fuel consumption has come down a lot n I am using this card for mostly RuPay/UPI trxns to reach the minimum spend (only 50,000) to avoid annual charge.

I have closed SBI BPCL and IDFC Power Plus due to this reason. I used fuel of 10000+ per month. But most fuel ⛽ pumps use Paytm machines and we don't get points.

Earlier, when I was having Citi IndianOil cobranded card, in the initial days, the card used to get rewards/discounts when used in ANY IOCL bunk - on ANY machine issued by ANY BANK. Only condition was that the card must be used IN A IOC PETROL BUNK.

Later, slowly, they made it more useless. For they said, it should be used only in COCO Petrol bunks (IOC Company Owned n Company Operated). Then they said, the POS machine must be from Citi Bank. That was the biggest joke - Citi has only a handful of branches whereas IOC has petrol bunks all over India.

That is when I cut their card into 4 pieces and sent to Citi Hyderabad branch.
