Hello everyone,

I have a portfolio of 7 Credit cards, out of which 5 are cobranded, highest limit in my portfolio is 2.5 lakhs, and the highest limit in non-cobranded cards is 50k

I want to increase my credit limit so that I can get better C2C offers and premium cards

Now Which non-cobranded card to apply for to get a good credit limit?

Please find the portfolio including the limit in brackets and suggest accordingly
  1. Axis Flipkart (15k)
  2. HDFC EasyEmi (50k)
  3. BOB Premier (50k)
  4. ICICI Amazon pay (110k)
  5. RBL Zomato Classic (114k)
  6. Federal Onecard (125k)
  7. SBI BPCL (250K)

You should have listed which cards you currently have, it would be easier for all! Or we can speculate and spit out random suggestions.

You can try to get IndusInd Legend, being offered without any joining fees to most (Annual fees is NIL). I applied directly through their website and got it, last month.

Thanks for the suggestion. Already in talk with the bank about taking the same, and recently opened an Indus Partner account, there is a delay due to being a tier 2 city.

What’s the eligibility for legend? Salary or Min limit for C2C?
Not sure. But my CIBIL was 779, and I didn't upload any document. They gave an option either to upload bank account statement or login via Net Banking and automatically fetch the details. I went ahead with the latter and got the offer (with no joining fees). That account is my primary account, if that helps!

Actually, there is no CC department in my Pincode, Branch is requesting from their side for lower-end cards and cards against FD, even legend is available against FD of 1lakh

2.5L being the highest limit, you can't expect higher limit than that. Though one thing, the credit limit is decided by the underwriter, so no one can assure you the limit you'll be getting. For an example, all of my cards sit at more than 3 lakh limit where I got 25k limit on Yes First Preferred and even after having qualifying ITR for Yes First Exclusive, I neither got upgraded to it, nor my CL got increased.

The best bet you can do is to open a Preferred/Imperia acc with HDFC, maintain balance (more than required NRV/MAB) for 6-8 months and you'll get pre approved HDFC Regalia with 3 lakhs limit, from there you can do c2c

I am already maintaining preferred status with HDFC and will wait for pre-approved offers
