As Imwas planning to do FD I compared on various platform and finalize Stable money However, while exploring I found TATA NEU was offering a offer for booking my first FD 250 Neu Coins. I immediately change the platform because of this benefits and shifted on Tata neu, Now the catch is in This post which i mentioned in detail outlines my personal experience with Tata Neu's Increasing Misleading promotions, For this incident where I was promised but the promise was not fulfilled.

The Offer in Detail.

On November 27, 2024, I came across an exclusive offer on the Tata Neu app that stated:
"Exclusive offer for you! Book your first FD TODAY and get up to 250 Neu Coins."

The offer was prominently displayed under their Fixed Deposit section and influenced my decision to book an FD of ₹90,000. The reward, 250 Neu Coins, was promised to be credited after the FD confirmation, as per the terms of the offer.

Booking Issues Due to Tata Neu’s Technical Problems:

I proceeded to book the FD on November 27, 2024, but the payment failed due to technical issues on Tata Neu's platform. When I contacted Tata Neu’s customer support, I was advised to try again later. Despite waiting 48 hours, the payment failed a second time.

After several failed attempts, I decided to redo the entire process, and finally, on December 11, 2024, the FD booking was successful. Throughout this ordeal, Tata Neu’s representatives assured me that I would still qualify for the reward once the FD was confirmed.

The Disp9ute :

After waiting the promised 4-5 business days, I noticed that the Neu Coins had not been credited to my account. I followed up with Tata Neu customer support multiple times, only to be met with vague and inconsistent responses.

1. Initial Response: The first response acknowledged the reward and stated that the Neu Coins would be credited within the next 4-5 days.


2. Final Response: Ten days later, I was informed that no such offer was active during the period of my FD booking (December 3 - December 11, 2024).



This response directly contradicted the visible promotional banner and earlier assurances provided by Tata Neu’s representatives which was on 4th of December.

Evidence of Misleading Practices:

To support my case, I provided the following evidence:

1. Screenshot of the Offer: A banner captured on November 27, 2024, clearly showing the offer was active. Which still active even today.


2. Chat Transcripts: Conversations with Tata Neu’s support team, where they assured me I would receive the reward. On 4th Dec 2024.


3. The Inconsistency: Tata Neu’s initial acknowledgment of the reward being credited within 4-5 days versus their later denial.



My Concerns and Frustration

This experience highlights several issues with Tata Neu’s practices:

Misleading Advertising: Displaying a promotional offer but later denying its validity.

Inconsistent Communication: Contradictory responses from their customer support team, creating

My Final Stand


In my final communication to Tata Neu, I requested immediate resolution and I also mentioned my intent to escalate the issue to the RBI Ombudsman if a satisfactory response was not provided.

This is not about the monetary value of 250 Neu Coins but about honesty, integrity, and transparency. Customers should not have to chase rewards or face such frustration for offers promoted by reputed platforms.

i got same type of story in tataneu order of 1mg..they said will give 250 neu coins on 2500rs med order.,.when i did..i simply got 50 coins..i didnt fight or raise any concern..i simply hold the app..clicked uninstall game done

Exactly they are being fishy day by day almost all offers have similiar issues.
