Bill overdue and cards are blocked

My due date was on 02 Nov 25 which was missed (thanks to cred which i trusted most) and i acknowledged it when SC sent sms for overdue on 04 Nov 25 for ₹350.
Also i was struggling to use SC cards( i have 3 ) from last 1 day as every payment was getting failed without any appropriate reason from bank.
After getting SC overdue SMS i connect to support team & they told me that one card was blocked due to bill overdue & another two cards also blocked in view of first.
I told them their is still 2 days of Grace period left (4 & 5) how could bank block cards without any communication that too within grace period.of 3 days? She told that bank counts grace period within due date ! And once the payment was settled your cards would be auto unblocked.
I immediately paid ₹350 due amount.

So how fare is SC here & what are the standard practices followed by banks in overdue cases?
Should i approach to BO of RBO?

This is common with SC. Happened with me for Rs 350 which was supposed to be refunded and it did not even after 10 days of failed transaction and so I made a short payment considering this 350 will come back and it will be refunded and it did not before due date. Almost 5 days card was blocked even after payment being credited. This is very common and after this I had same issue multiple times as even bill desk payment took more than 5 days at times for SC cards.

Good thing is I did cancel my card.

Update is :
Cards are auto unblocked after 3 days of BBPS payment.
Even though i paid billed amount in second day of Grace period; ideally their should not be any penalty or cibil reporting 🤔 but its SC which is a hell bank .
