Blocking Banks & businesses on whatsapp. is it a good idea?

My whatsapp is very cluttered, I wish we had different tabs or some feature like custom labels to see what we actually want to see.

I usually do block businesses except for amazon (recharge reminders are life saver for non-app users), but now a lot of banks have also started spamming me with SMS, calls & whatsapp texts. Initially, I was kinda afraid to block them on whatsapp because they might also send some important info but so far I have not received anything important, so what do you guys think? block them all? because I think legally they are required to send SMS & email on registered contact details. so it should be fine right?

also, how do you manage with all this clutter? except for archive option?

I dont know either, just have a separate Tab for business chat!
why is Meta not implementing this is beyond me.

Yup, which foolish higher authority is a blocker for implementing this idea, I don't get it, present them to me

Whatsapp allows you to pin upto 3 chats to stay on the top of your list. I find this useful to keep important chats on top of the clutter
