I want to bring attention to a serious lapse by Bank of Baroda (BoB) Financial, which has had a cumulative negative impact on my CIBIL profile over the years. While the incident itself dates back to 2022, I was not aware of the RBI Ombudsman escalation process at that time. However, now that I understand the regulatory framework better, I want to seek a formal resolution and clarification from BoB Financial for this unjustified rejection.
✅ Multiple Reapplications & Rejections: After this incident, I applied for BoB credit cards multiple times between 2023 and 2025. If their systems internally flagged my past rejection unfairly, every subsequent inquiry was negatively impacted.
✅ Lack of Transparency & Accountability: BoB never provided a proper reason for rejecting an already approved application.
✅ File an official complaint with BoB Financial, demanding a clear explanation.
✅ Escalate to the RBI Ombudsman, as this unexplained rejection may have led to incorrect entries in my CIBIL records.
✅ Dispute the unnecessary CIBIL inquiries caused by this event.
although except this one i complained about my other recent bob application rejection issue in RBI ombudsman but they certified about those as i did not provided them their required all documents like bank statement with this much of a MAB and turnover etc etc. but this one i never mentioned to RBI. i have total of 6 bob credit card enquiry on my cibil score including this one.
Since I was unaware of the RBI Ombudsman process back then, I am pursuing it now. Would appreciate any suggestions on how to ensure accountability from BoB Financial.

- In 2022, I applied for a Bank of Baroda Credit Card.
- My application was approved as per BoB’s official portal, with a dispatch timeline of 5 working days (screenshot attached).
- Unexpectedly, the status was changed to "Rejected" shortly after – without any explanation, reason, or official communication from BoB Financial.
- Despite reaching out for clarification, BoB refused to disclose why an approved application was suddenly revoked.
Why This Still Matters in 2025
