Bob debit card payment debited

Hello

My father applied for a Bank of Baroda Visa Platinum debit card around 20 to 25 days ago but then changed his mind about activating it because he is now using an SBI bank account. However, Bob recently debited ₹354 on Friday for the card, which he did not even activate. Can I do something about this because he won't pay for something he doesn't use?

U applied and got charged with issuance fee, simple it is .

No way, bob the builder gonna reverse this. I too tried once.

Only on credit cards, we can get rid of the joining fee (if any), if we don't activate the card. Never heard with a debit card. Anyway, let's see if anyone has a way to overcome this.
