Planning to open an advantage account online to get this debit card. How is the experience? They do both vKYC and physical verification? How long does the process take?

You are having the exact same issue as me. I had BOB Professional savings account (SC 194). This is their premium savings account for professionals and AQMB is on higher side like 50k or so. I had been facing this issue for like 1 year. Also, even their customer care IVR said my account no is invalid for on call verification.
Today I went to branch for applying visa sapphire dc. They weren't getting the option to apply this card (and also easemytrip) as their system said my account variant is ineligible for this. The staff was too surprised as Professional is their premium savings account.
I immediately changed my account variant from professional to super savings account type. The staff did it immediately after I filled and submitted one consent form. As soon as the conversion was done, my app error vanished and I was able to see the list of debit cards available for application.

So, the solution for such errors is to change your account type. Those errors would still be there in app/net banking unless you change your account type.

Surprisingly, virtual card details are still not showing it on the app for me, as opposed to others who applied here

Bob is incapable of maintaining premium banking and tech. Better to have 1000rs mab account and live peacefully.

Yes that was the exact conclusion of this tale. IF you hold the less common ones, chances you would be facing technical issues in that variant

I'm facing same issue. So it's a glitch in their higher variants.
There's no remedy for me?

I guess it is because your basic account type is bsbda account and got upgraded and put into Masterstroke accont( which I think MS is program)

Not at all yar, even in my bsbda account only jan dan rupay only allowed. But in app 2 cards was always showing jan dan rupay, normal rupay. I applied normal rupay card and was using both rupay cards.
All options were working perfectly before.
After this masterstroke conversion only, it's showing as ineligible to apply debit card

They don't deserve to put such premium products without implementing these basic tech things. They promoted and branded with big Sachin Tendulkar with crores but can't take care of product. This bank deserves to be fined by RBI and put a ban for some period to improve tech.
