Devaluation BOB Eterna - Lounge Access

I recently got a message about airport lounge access spend based criteria on BOB Eterna card (pdf attached). I was only using this card for unlimited lounge access. With new criteria to kick in in January 2025, shall I close this card?

I am not expecting an expense of Rs40,000 on this card in most quarters of the year.

Shall I close this card?

I also got a similar message a week back. Eterna card was already devalued so much. With the recent change it won't be of any use.

It’s BOB Card’s time now!
Effective from January 1, 2025, you’ll need to spend a specific amount using your BOB card to qualify for free lounge access at domestic airports in India.



I’d say BOB has kept the spending requirement very reasonable. Unlike other card issuers, like ICICI Bank, which require you to spend 1 lakh to get free lounge access, BOB’s requirement is well within reach.

Use BOB Eterna CC on Payzapp full kyc Wallet load and easily transaction 40k to get unlimited lounge access.

Payzapp wallet load also give you 3.75% cashback + 1% extra for milestone benefit complete.

use Payzapp Wallet UPI for CC bill payment via Snapay app (snapay app no kyc required)

Is this still working? I added my card for CC bill payment but it doesn’t allow payment until KYC is done.

Snapay app - go to "BBPS" payment option and there you will get credit card bill payment option.

Kindly don't close, it's Still a better card for various online offers & discounts offered by bob through various websites.

Snapay app - go to "BBPS" payment option and there you will get credit card bill payment option.

Thanks. This BBPS -> Credit Cards option is only present in Android; I was checking it in iOS and hence couldn't find it.

KYC is not required for Snapay-BBPS transaction.

Which option you use "BBPS" option na on Snapay app ?

Payzapp monthly spend limit is also 1 lakh, remember this thing and some weekly limit also available.

Reinstall Payzapp full kyc app and try under 5k transaction.

Then you may choose to close any one of them of your choice, if you possess 02 bob credit cards.
