Hey guys. I booked the Ather Rizta EV today using my parents Infinia today. We got 3% rewards on it and luckily we didn't have to pay any extra charges for using the card.

We were told that a 2% fee would be applied while paying but after requesting waive off of the fees, they did agree to it.

Could be as we got all the available accessories with it (side - step & body - guard) on which we got another 20% off, I think the discount is applicable if you buy it while purchasing the scooter itself. The accessories are of-course overpriced but my parents said to get them cause later we won't have time to get them installed from a 3P.

I have bought the top variant, Rizta Z 3.7KWh battery with pro - pack which cost around ₹180,761 in total. So, waiting for around 6000 points to get credited 😛

Which City is the dealership located if I may ask

Then it would be the biggest irony as buying an E-vehicle and getting kicked in the face by fuel surcharge😛😆
Real electric shock 🤯

What if fuel surcharge gets added to your statement instead of reward points?😜
😂😂

Hehe, nahi aisa nahi hoga. Mere ek friend ne bhi uske card pe liya tha earlier this year, from the same dealership, he got points on his DCB, so didn't bother 😉

I bought River Indie a couple months back. Paid in full online with my SBI Cashback card and got 5125 cashback for 147969. No negotiations 😛

Bhai....Itne mein toh royal enfield aa jaati

If you have to replace battery costing 60k after 4 years then per year cost is 15k and per month cost is Rs 1250 which means approx 12 litre petrol per month....RE gives mileage of 40 km so in 12 litre you can drive 480 Km i.e. 16 Km per day......

So EV running cost much higher than fuel bike....EV is only a marketing gimmick.

It is personal choice to buy EV or fuel bike..I am just sharing some calculations for future buyers.

RE does not need battery replacement of 60k after 3/4 years...Add all the cost..RE does not catch fire on the road..Also, driving RE and EV has NO COMPARISON..
Ather also doesn't catch fire on the road. I also know the plus and minus. You yourself are aware of the plus and minus and told that it's a personal choice. Then why would you compare them xD?

Andd the intention was not to get into a war of words, just to be clear.

Lmao, getting your knowledge from GadheBano.com?

One of my dad's relatives has a 450 bought in 2021 or so, they've ridden around 40k KMs on it, yet the battery is in a good state, they still get around 85% of the range it had when it was new. Also, I haven't heard of Ather's catching fire as much as other EVs. Yes, they did catch fire a few times, but even ICE vehicles catch fire, only that ICE engine fires are not reported as they are so common. I say this cause, I myself have seen 3 ICE vehicles burning, right in front of me, never saw it on the news, whereas when one EV did, saw it on the news for a day or 2.

EV fires are reported like hot cakes, cause it's a new technology.

To answer your question, I didn't want a RE. As simple as that.
