PhonePe wallet balance or existing Gift Card balance cannot be used to purchase e-gift cards.

I have seen a pattern where if PhonePe is merchant name they tend to use that to decide 1%.

Additionally, I guess gift card mcc comes under 1% rewards.

Where and when is the cashback credited? I bought Rs. 3000 voucher but did not find the cashback in wallet or card.

It got credited instantly to PhonePe gift card balance. Shows up in transaction history too.
