Can’t pay utility bill from Amazon Pay GC

Hi,

I paid a utility bill of Rs.41k from my Amazon account November successfully from Amazon Pay Balance loaded as Gift Cards from SBI CB card. Now I am trying to pay another utility bill in January getting the message on the payment options page even on my other Amazon account:
“Amazon Pay Balance is not eligible as you have exceeded the maximum amount limit allowed for your Balance on this transaction. Please continue to pay using other methods.”

Is there any way to resolve this as Amazon customer service said in the first week of December that limit will reopen in the January and the issue still remains or any way to get CB using SBI CB card?

Ohh actually it’s 48.3k, just gone through my orders, and it was a single transaction.

Strange. Their faq says not more than 15K per bill. But for you it worked. Something buggy in Amazon.

Yeah, it worked once, trying to make the payment again for the same biller account from APay is not working anymore. Later, in the last month I used TNeu app with Infinity card to make the payment for the max rewards.

So limit is per trasaction which is ranging from 15k to 50k depends on bill partneer.
Thats why you able to pat 48K bill.


But there is also annual limit of Usage of Amazon pay for bill payment which is again varies vendor to vendor ranging between 1L to 12L.
So looks like JVVNL annual limit is exausted.

Amazon pay limits are from trasaction date. Not as per calendar year or financial year.

Exact list of limit for each vendor is not found to me.

Their custome executive are the worst. Many times they say we have raised ticket. If you call again another agent says their is no ticket let me raise it. And this goes on. 😅

I have paid only once from my Amazon pay balance in this year to the biller account, So the total is 48.3k only. If I am trying to use APay from another Amazon account for the same biller account for the payment, that is also showing the the same amount exceeded error.
