I got amex smartearn as student, earlier had hdfc cc with 25k limit. No income proof was asked from me. Make sure to select student only while applying. Cibil 760+. If you want referral and help DM me

Got first card in Feb and amex in september, earlier had flipkart pay later activated in september prev yr, closed when got cc
A student helping another student in both directions..
One by guiding another to get the card.
Another by allowing the other to get referral points…
This is the main aim of forums like these …

May be you should have an unsecured credit card with limit of >1Lakh with atleast 6 months credit history
Haven't tried when I was a student so not sure🙂
try to take an SBI, IDFC secured cc ( cc against FD ) and use it for 6 months - these banks usually report your cc as unsecured cc in your credit Report
hence It will help you in getting AMEX
or any other cards easily as your Credit score increases...
