Can HDFC penalize me for negative balance in company's account?

Our startup company (private limited) has an account with HDFC, and I am the authorised signatory, but not the director or shareholder of company. Since the last year the company is facing some issues, due to which there is no activity in the bank account and the account balance has gone into negative territory (low 5 digits). We are hopeful of a revival of the company and so haven't dissolved the company, or closed the account yet.

I have a HDFC credit card for quite a long time and thinking about opening the savings max account to receive my freelancing income in it. However, a bit concerned because the same mobile number is linked with the credit card and that company account (as authorised signatory). I get periodic balance information sms in that number, although no warning has been sent so far.

Can HDFC recover that negative balance from my credit card or savings account (if I open one). Will it be wise to open HDFC Bank account at this situation.

But that is my Aadhaar linked number. Will the bank allow opening account using any other number? Also, the credit card is already linked with that number only.
It was just to be safer.
There should not be an issue. Bank should allow to open account with a non Aadhar linked number.
Credit card you can leave as it is. Or you can change the number in the card account too.
HDFC gives an option to add the credit card to your account. I think that should also work for cards with a different registered mobile number.
