Can I swap my brand new, yet-to-be activated co-branded HDFC card for a standard HDFC card?

I recently applied for the paid HDFC Swiggy card, but upon reevaluating its advantages and disadvantages, I have come to believe that a standard HDFC card like the MoneyBack+ will better suit my needs. The reasons are:
1. The Swiggy card is not eligible for discount offers during special sale events on sites like Amazon, FK and Apple.
2. I already have other paid cards offering similar benefits.

So, I was wondering if, in case my application is approved, I could contact HDFC customer care and get them to issue me a standard card in its place. Has anybody tried doing this and succeeded? Please help me out. 🙏

I just recently upgraded my paytm hdfc bank select credit card to millennia by mailing in grievance department without any problem but the thing is my paytm card was 12 months old i think that's why 🙂
