Cancelling Flights booked via Smartbuy

I had booked some flights via smartbuy using a combination of reward points and balance. The tickets were issued through cleartrip. What is the best way to cancel them? Through smartbuy portal? Contact HDFC CS. Contact cleartrip? Please advise. Never had to cancel before. TIA.

I cancelled via Smartbuy portal once. I got all the balance refund and the remaining point refund.

Cancel through cleartrip or OTA through which the booking was done.

Depends on the available fare classes for the flight. Usually the more expensive fares are refundable.

How much time (Hours, days) it took to get your points refunded to your account.

I think smart buy introduced free cancellation through insurance . Has anyone used this option.
