Are you sure All BOB cards will have only one account number??

What the above notification says, instead of Credit card number they will report the corresponding account number of that credit card number..

If all the BOB CCs issued to a customer have onle one account number then , only one account will be reported or else all the different craedit cards accounts will be reported as usual.. ( the only difference is instead of CC number they now use account number) ..

Its better when people using for free credit report on various third party apps without knowing they shared entire card number, now its some random account number.

one account number in cibil make sense, since the limit is shared between all cards. if they report 1 account number with this limit it will be more correct, right?

Firstly I could not believe they were reporting CC number directly to all the bureaus all this time..
It is just plainly unacceptable.. not sure how regulatory authorities had allowed this for this long..
yes, it has to be some account number ( not cc number ) that need to be used for all reporting purposes at all times..

SBI has been doing it since decades. They changed a few months back. Now, for my sbi card, account no and card no are transpositioned like 123456789 :: 123456798

IndusInd is still doing it and it seems like they have no intention to report card account number instead of CC number.
