Chennai: ITC Chola, Leela or a Taj?

Any suggestions for an upscale retreat in and around Chennai? It's always nice to get some local input given sometimes 5* luxury properties can be tired and worn or have other maintenance issues.

Was looking at the ITC Chola, Leela or a Taj. But open to all suggestions. Thanks.

Itc chola was really good when I stayed there

Welcome Palm Keyes is good out of all 3. But is around 50km away from city
