CIBIL MISHAP? TWO SCORES, TWO REPORTS, SAME PERSON!

I really need some clarity from the community.

My CIBIL score was 792 before applying for an SBI Credit Card.
During address verification, the SBI agent entered my dad’s name as my LAST name, which resulted in my name being printed wrong on the card.

I raised a complaint with SBI to correct the name in their system and on CIBIL's portal. They confirmed that the correction was done. I even received a fresh card with the correct name.

But here’s where everything went downhill.

After about a month, I tried checking my report on the official CIBIL website and got a message that my account was locked. After contacting support, they unlocked it.
When I logged in again, my score dropped to 751 from 792 within just a month — despite no late payments, no closures, no defaults, nothing negative.

And the biggest shock?
My CIBIL report now shows only 1 active account (the SBI credit card), whereas I actually have 5 active credit cards + 1 home loan.

To cross-check, I generated my CIBIL report through the UMANG app, and guess what?
There my score is 802, and the report shows all my accounts EXCEPT the SBI card!

So now I basically have:

  • One CIBIL report showing 751 with only SBI card
  • Another CIBIL report showing 802 with all other accounts but not SBI

🤯 Did CIBIL actually create two profiles under the same PAN?
🤯 Did SBI trigger this mess somehow?
🤯 Or is CIBIL’s database just malfunctioning?

This is seriously concerning.
Would love to hear thoughts, suggestions, or if anyone else has experienced something similar!

Can you see two different Cibil control numbers in these two reports?Raise this concern to Cibil and mention these two control numbers and ask them to rectify it.
