CIBIL signup documents question

If you look to sign up to Cibil, it asks mobile number/e-mail account and potentially ID to create an account.

I assume the main identifier for CIBIL has to be PAN right (which weirdly they're not compulsorily asking for at sign up time? )

If I signed up using a secondary mobile/email and say provided my passport as ID proof, how would they know which person's data to show?

And how does the signup process go- you sign up and just upload copies of the ID?

They actually ask you some questions about the loans you have previously been sanctioned. I was trying to sign up an account for my dad and the amount of questions it asked me related to previous lendings made me immediately close it because I had no idea about his financial past.

No need to upload any copies of your ids. Just need PAN and Mobile number. I did this mistake of not giving PAN with Equifax when I signed up and they are not able to show my credit score because of the same reason. So I created another account with PAN and it immediately fetched my Equifax score. PAN is MUST for CIBIL or any credit reports.
