Citi generate bill in advance?

I have Citi rewards card which I use only once to get fee waiver. I used it last month. My bill date is 12th of month. But I am surprised to see SMS that said my bill generated today, 11th. I checked in netbanking of Citibank and found this funny.



Bill is not downloadable yet. Has Citi become desperate to close their business 🙂

this happens with citi frequently my bill generation date is 13th and i recieved statment on 11th in advance and still in statment it mentions till 13th....😒

I don't transact much on Citi and this is first time I noticed. I have not seen such on ICICI or SBI statements.
