Close BoB Debit Card? - Query

The annual charge deadline for my BoB Debit Card is nearing. I have blocked the card via netbanking and it doesn't show in the list of my debit cards in netbanking anymore. Is that enough for BoB to not levy the annual charge or is there anything more I need to do?

Afaik you have to close the card.
Blocking is not sufficient.

Hi,
Did you manage to block the debit card permanently? I was looking for the same & wondering if they would levy the annual charges despite blocking the debit card permanently. Please revert the status in your case.

Yes, I blocked the card permanently before the approximate annual charges time (BoB doesn't have a fixed date/week/month for deducting charges) and I don't see any annual charges deducted, yet. Going by the previous deductions, it should have happened in the month of Oct-Nov.

Did you have to do anything else or just blocking the card in the app/netbanking will suffice?
