Close ICICI bank account through iMobile app; No need of physical forms or branch visit

You can close ICICI bank account online, no need to go to branch and submit physical forms.
In iMobile app, go to Services > Account Services > Account Closure.

You also need to enter an account number and detail where your balance amount or interest needs to be transferred.

(Not yet tried on internet banking, so I don't know the exact option there)

Earlier we needed to go to any nearest branch and submit physical form.
Now that is not required anymore. What a relief!

I don't know fully.
HDFC is still pen and paper.
DBS is online. (I think HSBC too is online).

Axis I think should be online but not sure.

Idfc first also allows online closure of sb account through IVR (not mobile app)
