Close or Upgrade HDFC UPI RuPay Digital CC (Useless Card)

I was offered HDFC RuPay UPI Virtual CC six months back as pre-approved card with an annual fee of Rs99+GST
I had a Millenia LTF back then which was on MC so I just took the RuPay card offer.
But this card has been useless so far.
I hold Regalia Gold LTF now (upgraded from Millennia), and I am thinking of getting rid of this RuPay card.
I don't have any other HDFC card as of now
Should I close this RuPay CC?
Will it have any impact on future pre-approved/floater card offers?

Or do you suggest asking HDFC for upgrading this cc to any other rupay variant card?

Wouldn't it be better if i close this RuPay Virtual card and do a fresh application for Tata Neu Infinity, they are offering FYF currently i guess

Upgrades are also FYF.
