Closing an upgraded Axis bank card - Cibil score

I have closed Axis privilege credit card which was upgraded from axis Credit Card long back. So when I have closed Axis Bank privilege credit card. I got a message saying that Axis Ne card is also closed. So does that mean the old axis Credit Card which I got upgraded to access privilege card was not cancelled till now.?

What I am afraid is Axis new Card is why are you old so would that affect my credit score?

if you have upgraded then the old card is closed, any charges will be put in the new card. (As it is an upgrade the loan account is just 1, so there are no issues your neo card closed or not doesn't matter as the loan account is important) now you closed the privilege and no upgrade... then the loan account closes and you get NOC.

nothing to do with the CIBIL score. (in your case it wont decrease) (for your information: closing a loan account will not affect your cibil score in any manner)

You can never be 100% sure with banks, especially axis.

Last year when I asked cs said if upgraded to cc with same reward type(cb/edge point/edge mile) it will be same account. Else new account will be created.

I was trying to "upgrade" to neo from fk axis.

new credit card in axis (if you have got axis neo), then new loan account is created. if that credit card (axis neo) is upgraded (for eg to Axis privilege) then same loan account will be but the old card (that is axis neo) will be closed and new selected upgrade card (axis privilege) given. there is no impact in cibil or account
