[CMCPCI SMS] [NOTICE] Transactions done without submitting PAN!

CMCPCI sent below SMS :

Income Tax Department has received information about certain transactions reported by you in Form 60/61 relating to FY 2021-22.
It is requested that if you are not in occupation of a PAN Number, the same may be applied in Form 49A immediately or else, the PAN Number
should be submitted to the Reporting Entity within 15 days from the campaign execution date.

I've not filled any for 60/61 anywhere ever (which is for saying I don't have PAN), wondering if someone else has done some transaction in my name in 2021-22.

Things I did so far to validate it:

0- I see online, many other folks received the same message, but unclear about whom to report this!

1- I don't see any campaign running in the ITR Portal for such SMS

2- the SMS Sender is genuine as per the whitelisted source list

3- I checked the AIS but did not find any transaction which is not linked to PAN card


Does anyone have any idea about this? or anyone in the same boat?

Got this link from AIS customer care for asking queries but this doesn't work 🤦‍♂️
