Co branded to Hdfc Millenia

Currently i am holding Paytm Hdfc card and i requested for upgrade ,they denied an upgrade citing the reason that if a customer holds first hdfc card as a cobranded than they are not allowed to upgrade to core variant , but instead they are offering me Millenia as a floater card .
My query is whether any LE or Jumbo loan type offers are provided on floater cards and what if i close the paytm card ? What will happen to my millenia

you can apply directly for core hdfc card and co-branded of any cc mostly they won't give you a upgrade let alone hdfc, so apply for millennia directly from hdfc website instead applying for floater, if cc said this how old is your patym hdfc cc cause normally when cc mentioned then you must have apply for card recently and to apply for hdfc core cc you need to wait 3/6 month before you apply for new hdfc card and floter was given you option cause it has no restriction on that.

IMO, take Millenia as a floater if they are up front me offering.
Here in this forum only someone opened a thread about exactly same issue as urs

What after taking millenia i choose to close paytm card ? Would it lead to closing of both cards or only paytm ?

What will happen if someone takes Millenia as a floater and then cancels the other card? Does Millenia still stay as floater? Can you get upgrades on it then?

Thats not possible. Both cards will be closed
