Companion Card to Platinum Reserve

I just got a Platinum Reserve card from AMEX, but I’d like to apply for the Gold and MRCC cards as well, is there a way I can get the fee for Gold card waived off if I can get it as a companion card? Also, can the Platinum Reserve points be used for 18k/24k tier rewards? I got the Platinum Reserve because I didn’t know about the Platinum Travel and the trifecta at that time.

If you own atleast MRCC or gold charge then only 18k/24k accessible for conversion and currently no companion concept with AmEx after their come back in Sep'22.
note: I hold smart earn, MRCC and gold charge all charged in 1st bill, not treated as companion.

I have platinum reserve card and I also wanted a platinum travel as companion card. Gave a call to the Amex platinum helpline (Nov 23)and they confirmed that the companion card is with only platinum charge card. In case I wanted to get one then platinum reserve will become companion card. So no companion card with reserve.
