Hi All,

I am a new member of Technofino. Was not able to find an option to post this in "credit card" forum, hence posting it here.
Following graph compares "Marriott Bonvoy" points that one can earn by spending x-rupees (in the x-axis) bu either Axis Atlas or Amex Plat Travel cards, where:

Assumptions:
1. Member is Axis Atlas silver tier
2. No first year bonus/joining bonus etc are considered for either card
3. Spent is done in an year

Descriptions of the graph:
Amex-min = (Spend * (base points of amex plat travel (2%)+ milestone points at 1.9L and 4L spend)*mariott conversion rate (=1)
Amex-max = (Spend * (multiplier points of amex plat travel (6%)+ milestone points at 1.9L and 4L spend)*mariott conversion rate (=1)
Max Amex Plat Travel points = Amex-max * 1.3 (basis on the offer that was rolled out in Nov-Dec where 30% extra points were credited to Marriott account when transferring from Amex)

Atlas - min = Spend * (base points of atlas (2%)+ milestone points at 3L, 7.5L and 15L spend)*mariott conversion rate (=0.5)
Atlas - max = Spend * (multiplier points of atlas (5%)+ milestone points at 3L, 7.5L and 15L spend)*mariott conversion rate (=0.5)
Max Atlas points:
1. we can transfer Atlas points -> ITC -> Marriott, in an effective ratio of 1:3, i.e., 1 Atlas point=2 ITC point=3 Marriott point. However, the maximum number of points that we can transfer by this way is 60000 ITC points (=30000 Axis points) in a calendar year.
2. Therefore, max atlas points graph=
2.1) Atlas-max points *3 (if atlas points<30000)
2.2) 90000+(x-30000)*0.5 if (atlas point>30000)
For example, for 6L spend, multiplier axis atlas points are = 600000*0.05+2500 (milestone points) = 32500 points. out of this, 30k points can be converted to 90k Marriott points after going via ITC route. Remaining 2500 points will be converted to 1250 Marriott points (at a conversion rate of 0.5), thus a total of 92500 points

Kindly let me know if there are any mistakes or if I missed anything.
