Completed application for LTF ICICI Platinum Credit Card, but received e-mail for MMT Visa Signature Card.

Cheating by ICICI Bank.

I completed application and had selected ICICI LTF Platinum Chip Card, but have received an e-mail for MMT Visa Signature Card with 2500 Joining fee.

I am e-mailing the customer service, but is it a common malpractice on their side ?
Of course, will not activate the Card if they send.

I had applied myself Online and also have an auto downloaded pdf which states Card applied is 'Platinum Card'

Logged into i mobile and cannot see any card.

No, I applied Platinum and got Platinum in May. Applied Sapphiro Alum and got Sapphiro LTF in July and applied Coral RuPay LTF and got Coral RuPay LTF in Aug.

When I applied for ICICI Platinum Chip, the executive filling the assisted form on phone tried me convince to apply for MMT Signature.

He tried few times, but I insisted on applying for Platinum chip. Finally he had to select the platinum chip on application form.

Did something similar happen with you?

Have registered a level 1 complaint right now.

ICICI Bank does somy silly mistakes sometimes. Sometimes they show one card's picture in ICICI net banking but when it arrives it's different. Sometimes they send wrong card too. If you receive a wrong card in your case, try to negotiate with customer care saying that, you have requested for one card and have got something else. If they reverse the joining fees then continue enjoying your card. If they don't then tell them you won't active the card.

I have 15 Yrs of CIBIL history and Score generally stays above 775.
