Considering second credit card. Would Amex Plat Travel be a good decision?

Hi,
Currently have an SBI cashback card, annual spend on CC's would be ~7-8L, mostly on food, travel, and appliances/electronics. No rent.
Was considering getting an Amex Plat Travel for the reward points up to 4L and then the rest on sbi cashback.
Does it sound like a good idea/does anyone have any other recommendations?

yes, and apply cause tomorrow could been the last date for 4k extra amex referral. use for friend and family referral ak from theme and then spend 15,000 in 90 days for extra MR point after 5900 is paid for first year.

Yes, Amex Plat Travel (APT) is undoubtedly the best Amex credit card for annual spends of up to Rs 4 Lakh.

Especially for all those domains where other credit cards offer neither any Reward Points (RPs) nor any milestone benefits - like fuel, utilities, income tax, etc. Even though APT also does not offer any RPs on these spends, but that is more than generously offset by the bonus Membership Reward (MR) Points as spends on these domains count towards the annual milestones of Rs 1.9 Lakh and Rs 4 Lakh thereby generating bonus MR Points. This implies an overall return of approx. 8-10% based on the redemption value of MR points credited.

However, you must note that while online acceptance is stupendous - the offline acceptance is just the diametrically opposite and tends to gravitate towards horrendous.

Nevertheless, APT remains the King of Amex (all...?) cards for annual spends up to Rs 4 Lakh.
