Could anyone please please clear the dilemma 🙏

Hdfc bank customer care executive called me and said you have pre approved credit card hdfc bank money back plus. I'm hdfc bank account holder so she said no need of any documents. She sent me screenshot that card will be dispatched in 7 to 10 days. But when I tracked down my application it says rejected. Need help

Call the CC and ask them by giving the Application ID. What's the current status? Also, you can email them.
And pre-approved offers don't mean that you will get the card.

Your card application is declined.

When you apply for a credit card, the confirmation page says your card will be delivered in 7 to 10 days (if approved is silent). This is a generic confirmation message for all applications indicating the application process is successful.

Maybe it was not actually pre-approved, the sales officer was just trying to sell it anyhow. Even if it was pre-approved, the bank can still reject it. You may ask for exact reason of rejection by mailing them.
