Banks like PNB give personal loan at around 7-8% interest rate

Sorry to burst your bubble, but no bank does unsecured personal loans at this interest rate 🙂

No no, unsecured is without any collateral. Unsecured loans range from 10-15%
7-8% is generally property loans. (Secured)
Even auto loans are at 9% and they are also secured.

It's been there for long time. For me it showed up first on April/May, 2021. The issuer bank is IDFC. The interest rate is pretty hefty at 16% (due to my self-employed profile) but many got it at around 13%
