CRED IndusInd Sovereign - India’s First RuPay Ekaa Credit Card, Crafted in 18KT Gold

Today, CRED and IndusInd Bank launched not one, but two credit cards:
  1. CRED IndusInd Bank RuPay Credit Card (regular variant)
  2. IndusInd Bank CRED Sovereign Credit Card, powered by the brand-new RuPay Ekaa network

What is RuPay Ekaa?

RuPay Ekaa is a newly introduced premium network variant from RuPay — positioned above RuPay Select (which was their flagship till now). This means Ekaa is being pitched as RuPay’s answer to Mastercard World Elite and Visa Infinite Privilege.

CRED Sovereign Card (HNI variant)
  • Will be invite-only
  • Comes as an 18KT Gold credit card (yes, actual gold card!)
  • First-ever card on the RuPay Ekaa network
At the moment, detailed benefits are not yet public, but expectations are that they’ll be benchmarked against the highest-tier offerings from Visa and Mastercard.

I’ll update this post with the official benefits list and my opinion as soon as CRED/IndusInd release them.

Lagta hai,Regular card bekar card hone wala hai
(cred points ke wajah se)
Aur Cred Sovereign Card mera aukat ke bahar hai, aap jaldi se lelo. Hum aapke card ke unboxing dekh ke hi khush ho jayenge .

Translation:
Looks like the regular card is going to become useless (because of Cred points).
And the Cred Sovereign Card is out of my league — you please get it quickly.

I'll be happy just watching the unboxing of your card in your YouTube channel

I nominate this card for ugliest card of 2025.
