Credit Card EMIs from POS?

Hi! Is it possible to purchase something from a retailer through credit card emi from their POS machine? I know I can purchase something and then convert it into emis from their app/website. Which one is recomended? (Which method has less fees?). And do retailers entertain this Credit card emis from their pos? (For mdr charges).

It depends on the POS machine. Some POS machines have an option to swipe a card directly for EMI, while others don't.

Usually POS machines charge less compared to converting the transaction to EMI later. Ultimately, it depends on the card and the machine.
