Credit Card for College Fee Payment

willywonka

TF Buzz
I have to pay around 76000 every 6 months for my college fees. College uses Paytm payment gateway.
Here are the cards that I have:
- Airtel Axis : 35k
- Axis Myzone : 35k
- ICICI amazon : 60k
- ICICI platinum : 60k
- AU LIT : 45k

Which card would give me the most benefits also considering the payment gateway fees (Payment can be done as parts as well)?

Edit: College added few more payment gateways, attaching charges:

1% on ICICI amazon (not sure)

My college uses CCAvenue payment gateway. No additional gateway fees or charges for paying through cc. I use ICICI Amazon Pay CC for 1% cb and another 1% by paying its bill from HDFC billpay with Platinum DC.

Amazon Pay CC will give 1%. Your credit limit is lower than the college fee. How were you supposed to pay?

Activate 5% CB feature on AU LIT , pay in parts as per the feature limits to get max benefit
Is it applicable for education fee payment too? I also have an offer in AU LIT that If I spend 10,000 this month I will get 500 Rs APay voucher. I will look into this . thanks

Edit: 5X reward point on online transaction has exception on spends on education

I used the amount to create an account on indie app and was upgraded as megastar.

Used the debit card to pay the fee. I got .5% cashback which was around 330Rs while additional amount I had to pay was just 13 rs.

Any surcharge added post transaction settlement?

I need to pay 20 lakhs for MD 2nd year fees. Any suggestions on good credit cards to pay this?
I have the following cards:
CardLimitBenefit
ICICI Amazon Pay10L1% (Rs 10,000) cashback in Amazon Wallet
HDFC Swiggy1L1% (Rs 1000) cashback in statement
Federal Celesta5LNot sure (maybe some reward points)
SC EMT6LNot sure (maybe some reward points)

My questions are:

1) Should I pay using these cards itself, or should I apply for any other card, which can give me better benefits? If yes, which card?
2) Should I pay using credit card itself, or just pay directly from bank account?

I have time till Sept 1st week. Almost a month from now.
Atlas 15L + Amex Plat Travel/IDFC Vistara/SBI Vistara Prime 4.5L + HDFC Swiggy 0.5L
or
Plat Travel 4.5L + IDFC Vistara 4.5L + SBI Vistara 4.5L + Atlas 6.5L (This seems a good option)

brb, busy with something.

1. Could get an AMEX PLAT TRAVEL for Rs. 400000 payment (thats the milestone to get 48k points + 10k taj voucher). (Use a referral for getting FYF) Rest can pay via ICICI amazon pay, pay off card and pay again
2. If the College charges MDR fees, the rewards return could go negative. are there any charges for using CC?

Thanks. I think there is MDR, if that is the case, then it will not be of any use.
If not I will think about Amex.

@m4b Thanks bro, but I don't have any of these cards. (Travel is minimum, so not holding any cards for airmiles/vistara etc.).
So far I have been sticking to cashback cards. Will see for options.
