🌟 My Credit Card Journey So Far

Started browsing Technofino around mid-2024, and since then, I’ve already added ~5 new cards to my collection 😄
Earlier, I was holding just Amazon ICICI and a basic Axis Platinum. Only after going through multiple threads here did I realize the cashback potential and various benefit combinations.
Also got to know about international lounge access — super useful during recent trips ✈️

💳 Old Cards

Axis Platinum (LTF) 15 year old

  • Hardly use it now — only when there are exclusive Axis offers.
  • Mostly using Airtel Axis these days.
  • Might close or replace it with Axis Neo later.

Amazon ICICI (LTF)
  • Use only when an offer specifically mentions Amazon Pay ICICI.
  • Otherwise, usage is minimal now since I’m focusing on SBI Cashback for annual targets.
🆕 Cards Received in 2024

Airtel Axis

  • My go-to card for gas, Airtel DTH, 3 Airtel recharges, water tax, Swiggy, Zomato, and BigBasket till the limit is hit.
  • Guaranteed ₹12,000+ cashback per year 💰
SBI Cashback
  • Used for almost all online spends to achieve the yearly goal.
  • Last year’s cashback – ~₹20,000
Tata Neu Infinity (LTF)
  • Got an add-on card for my wife – both used for international lounge access 🛫
  • Use it for BigBasket, property tax, insurance, and Croma purchases (electronics).
  • Expected cashback this year – ~₹20,000+ easily.

Axis Liberty Savings Account
  • Switched from HDFC to Axis Liberty to separate UPI spends and track small expenses.
  • Loving the cashback structure – getting both quarterly rewards & monthly weekend cashback on offline shopping 🛍️
ICICI coral rupay (LTF)
  • Just for handling ICICI specific offers

💥 Cards Received in 2025

HSBC Live+
  • Received within 4 days of applying 👏
  • Yet to start active usage, but looks promising based on the benefits.
💬 Final Thoughts

This Technofino community has genuinely helped me understand how to optimize cashback and match cards to expenses better.
All these cards suit my spending profile, so they may not work for everyone — but they’ve been great value for me!

Also started using GPay Tap & Pay, linked with my Axis debit and other credit cards for convenience 💳📱

Big thanks 🙏 to everyone here for sharing detailed insights and experiences — it’s helped me build a well-rounded setup without going into premium cards.
