Modus operandi
1) Scammer will call you posing as a Bank Employee and would offer you Credit Limit Increase.
2) He would offer very lucrative limit like new limit 5 lakhs from present 1 lakh limit
3) He already has your Credit Card number, Pan or other private details, as such data is sold and purchased openly.
4) He will try to win your trust and once you agree with limit increase, he would ask you to share an OTP to complete the process.
5) If OTP is shared, you are in trouble as he used your card to make a transaction and you are scammed.
*Remember that Banks can’t help you much in such cases of fraud as OTP is hared by you. They will consider it as an authentic transaction.

-No need to say this but Always maintain the confidentiality of your data such as card expiry date, CVV/CVC codes, OTPs, and so on. Never give away this information with anyone through any means.
