Credit Card Payment Issue on Paytm

I usually use Paytm for only my HDFC credit card payments as it's the only platform where HDFC credit card payments are settled immediately, But When I made the payment it's stuck on 'Awaiting Confirmation from Bank' and I am not sure how much time it will take to process.I should have been cautious When the saw the interface was different today and I guess it now process through BBPS/ Bharat Connect...Is there a way I can request Paytm to cancel the payment and refund it?...I can't find a customer support email or phone number, they only have a useless chatbot! Or are the good chances that it will be processed in 48 hours?

Your money is stuck for a few days. It'll either get settled or refunded back to source.

If deadline is near, make sure you've enough money to settle the bill due. All apps are using BBPS now if I'm not wrong. Settlement should be instant, unless issues like these come up. You can use Gpay, Airtel Thanks, cred. I'm extra sure these all settle instantly for HDFC.

I don't know why but for me all other platforms took atleast 48 hours to settle HDFC payments while other cards are settled in few seconds...my real gripe here is lack of support option on Paytm, I understand there can be issues but Support should easily accessible, there should atleast be a support email ID, (not sure if there is one and I am not looking at right place)

Paytm support is worst and this payment stuck issues mostly happens with paytm. You should wait for 1-2days now. One more thing did you by any chance paid more than your bill amount? If you have paid even 1rs above your bill amount then hdfc will reject the amount.

Btw now most banks are using BBPS payment system including hdfc so you can pay from literally anywhere and it will be settled instantly.

Suggest using PayZapp for future bills. Settlement is instant for all Cards.

Paytm support is worst and this payment stuck issues mostly happens with paytm. You should wait for 1-2days now. One more thing did you by any chance paid more than your bill amount? If you have paid even 1rs above your bill amount then hdfc will reject the amount.

Btw now most banks are using BBPS payment system including hdfc so you can pay from literally anywhere and it will be settled instantly.
