Hello everyone,

I’m seeking advice on optimizing my credit card portfolio and building a strong set of cards for my needs. Here’s a quick overview of my spending patterns and preferences:

Spending Patterns:
- UPI Transactions: ₹1-3L per month
- Online Shopping: ₹1-2L per month (mostly on Amazon and Flipkart)
- Occasional Money Rotation: ₹2-4L per month for short-term financial needs

Preferences:
I prefer lifetime free credit cards, but I’m open to cards with fees if the benefits outweigh the cost. Looking for a mix of upgrades and new card applications to better suit my spending habits. Need atleast one card with international lounge access(1-2 per year should be enough)

Current Credit Cards: ( all are LTF except hdfc UPI)
1. Flipkart Axis Bank
2. Axis MyZone
3. HDFC Millennia
4. HDFC UPI Credit Card
5. HDFC Pixel Visa
6. HDFC Pixel RuPay
7. HDFC IOCL Add-On Card
8. IDFC Millennia
9. ICICI Amazon Pay
10. ICICI Coral Visa
11. ICICI Coral RuPay
12. South Indian Bank OneCard
13. Kotak League
14. IndusInd Legend
15. Kiwi Yes Bank

Planned Applications:
- AU Small Finance Bank IXIGO Card
- HDFC Tata Neu Infinity Card

Request for Suggestions:
1. Closures: Which of my current cards should I consider closing due to overlapping benefits or limited utility?
2. Upgrades: Which cards should I try upgrading for better features and higher limits?
3. New Cards: Are there any other credit cards I should apply for that align with my spending habits (UPI, online shopping, International lounge access, or financial needs)?
4. Optimization: Any advice on how to streamline my portfolio for maximum rewards, benefits, and overall usability?

I’d greatly appreciate your input and suggestions. Looking forward to hearing from the experts here!

Thank you!

For your spend, see if you can get Infinia. The online spend part done through Amazon Pay and Flipkart gift cards on Smartbuy will be beneficial.

In addition, Amex Platinum Travel and Amex MRCC will be great. All these are paid cards but will have high ROI if used correctly.

Closures
hdfc upi card as u already have pixel rupay
Coral visa asu have useful coral rupay
IOCL add on, too many unnecessary accounts in cibil is not good
Keep idfc Millenia if it is for only bank offers
If pixel visa rupay both showing in cibil, close visa

Upgrades
Idfc Millenia to wealth
Indus legend to Pinnacle

U seem like heavy spender, get magnus or atlas for that money rotation part

Close these.
4. HDFC UPI Credit Card
5. HDFC Pixel Visa

10. ICICI Coral Visa
Try to get hdfc neu infinity for upi, swiggy for online spends.
Thank you.
1. Current limit on HDFC is less than 2L bro. In millennia I have spent over 15L this year. They are not offering upgrades for me.
If you regularly spend more than cl in a month & do rotation, you have higher chance of getting caught.
I hope you know spending more than >10L combined on all carda of single issuer, shows up in AIS. If expenses >>itr, you might get into trouble.
2. I am from a rural background bro. So amex acceptance is an issue. So gonna skip then for now. May be in future will take them
You can use amex smartly on online expenses. How were you able to get idfc cc in rural area? I live in a t2 city, yet my pincode(& Even the capital) isn't serviceable.

1. I am thinking the same about hdfc rupay.
2. Coral and pixel cards have only one cibil account.
3. IOCL add on doesn't show up on cibil.
4. Can you guide me on the upgrade bro. Idfc limit 125k and legend limit 50k.

Thank in advance
Those limits are very less.
Pinnacle need 1.5L
Idfc wealth needs 4L,but 3L can be Managed through retention.
Never mind, leave them for now, wait for LE.

Get atlas or magnus if u can spend more than 1L in a month

1. sure

2. I spent around 30 L in a year with that amazon pay ICICI bro for the last 3 yrs. Last year they sent a message saying about the bill payments. I replied to them stating that I used rent and educational payment portals for taking the money out for personal nest I used them again for paying the money back. As I didn't make any money with that I missed declaring it. If any clarifications required I can give proper documentation as well. I sent a message like that. It's been over a year. No response. Only received message like that once.

3. No idea. For me they approved it on the first go

I spent over 6L using the flipkart axis this year bro. They haven't offered any LE or upgrade. Current limit around 2.5L.

Anyway to increase indusind legend and IDFC millennia limits without payslips or ITR. I got other card limits closer to 5L.
Try to upgrade to atlas via customer care. I forgot minimum limit required, try once.

Not possible without payslips. Only indus rm can help using other bank cc statements

I only have CC with indusind bro. How to get LE on indusind with other CC limit

Understood. Amex, focus on online acceptance rather than physical acceptance. With your spend pattern, you can easily use MRCC for monthly milestones and Plat Travel for 4L in a year and get the maximum benefits without ever carrying the card physically in your wallet.

Check if your pin code is covered for Amex.

I only have CC with indusind bro. How to get LE on indusind with other CC limit
Go to branch and take grandier account if you can afford
Pinnacle is ltf for grandier. Ask rm/bm to get u pinnacle.

Or simply open select account zero balance with legend and wait for LE

Sure will try that. I can't afford the grandier account though. Mailed them few days ago. Not even automatic response
