Credit Score Query

CarbonLogic

TF Premier
Hi folks

Currently I have two CCs, Supermoney-USFB FD Backed card and AmazonPay ICICI Card

To improve CIBIL score we know that
1. Keep utilization under 30% (per card)
2. Pay the bill on time

My Query here is,
1. is it necessary to have spends on both cards for the score to improve month on month?
2. or just using 1 card and paying its bill on time is sufficient to bring improvement in score? (because I donot shop on Amazon every month, whereas with the Supermoney card which is a Rupay CC, I use it for UPI txns as well)
3. does having spends on both cards and paying their bills on time multiply the score improvement rate? (say for example if my score was supposed to improve by 5 points with 1 card, will it improve by 10points if both cards are used?)

Thanks!

In short
Doesn't matter how you spend what you spend
Just try to keep minimal outstanding as on 15th and 30th/31st (Major Cards)
One card or both cards doesn't matter.
Thanks for your reply.
But if I used both cards instead of just 1 and if I paid their bill on time, will CIBIL score improve more when compared to if I had used just 1 card and paid its bill?

To be frank, this difference cannot be predicted well

But my thinking is Credit bureau don't look like how many cards u r spending with instead look at total credit u have been given and how much u have utilised and how well u have repaid.

No of credit cards u r having doesn't matter much for credit score (atleast not in case of cibil).

They look at credit history(how long u have held the credit product), utilisation, repayment, new enquiries. .

Having different type of credit product products like secured loan, unsecured card, secure card may have impact on Yr credit score.

I see so you are saying they look at the overall picture. My reason for asking this question was simply because, I dont use Amazon every month. So if the score is not improving more when all CCs are used and bill paid then I would like to avoid using my ICICI Apay unncessarily.
