w.e.f. 15th Feb 2022 : It is mandatory to maintain a monthly average balance of Rs. 10,000 in your digibank account.

I guess it is mandatory for new customers to maintain the MAB 10000 in DBS bank, but it is one of the best digital bank with no IMPS, NEFT charges.

Effective Sep 1st, 2023, the monthly average balance required for your
account will be revised from INR 5,000 to INR 10,000. We request that
you maintain the monthly average balance in your account to avoid
getting levied a service fee.

So all accounts irrespective of when it was opened should maintain 10k

If you maintain NRV of 2L they will upgrade it to prime account. Then you get complimentary TimesPrime membership, EaseMyTrip debit card with discount on EaseMyTrip, 2/qtr lounge access.

That seems a even worse option. This is the only bank which has NRV charges even for their higher end accounts.
If NRV is through MF/ FD , then one may consider upgrading. If not, better think twice

cause even by mistake if you fail to maintain NRV, they will charge you a non maintenance fee. Better than this is Kotak Privy/ Hdfc Classic, Preferred/ Icici Privilege or even Axis Priority (Axis is last optn , for obvious reasons)

Times prime is annual or only once?

They renew every year. You have to send SMS by 15th of the month when it is going to expire and they will send code by end of the month.
