Delayed payment for Tata Neu

Hi All
I hold two HDFC Cards - Diners and Tata Neu. While making bill payments through Cheq, I mistakenly paid the Neu card bill towards Diners black card. I only got to know about this once I received a payment overdue message from HDFC. I immediately paid the amount on 12th june when the due date was 8th. Reached put to priority redressal for removing delayed entry but they only reversed the late payment charges. How will this impact my Cibil score ( currently 797)

If you had missed payment by upto 3 days then the bank would not report it. But since you missed the payment by 4 days they will definitely report it as late payment. You can expect your Cibil to drop by 70 to 80 points. This is what has been reported by other members who missed their payments. What happened was very unfortunate. But don't lose heart, with regular payments it will recover quickly. Just be extra careful and don't miss any payments again.
