Denial of Tata Neu Credit Card

I applied for Tata Neu infinity LTF Credit Card after being eligible and recieving information for the same with shared limit of 5L with my existing Regalia.

However, during verification i received call from verification agent that he would be visiting my address who however did not turn up and told me ur address verification has been submitted, however my card was subsequently declined for want of verification.

I raised complaint via Twitter so, verification agent was sent to my address.

This time even before verification was complete my card was rejected citing internal policies however the agent completed verification too.
Now they have stopped replying on Twitter so any means by which i can still get the card?

Sad to see you are facing issue in getting Tata neu card.
Do one thing escalate your case to their grievance team for better outcome.Here are the mail ids.Write them and ask them to review the same again.

I applied HDFC Tata Neu plus from HDFC internet banking portal on 22nd June and It got rejected saying


And Today I applied the same card from Tata Neu app and it got approved today itself with CIBIL hit and virtual card is visible on App 🤣



This is HDFC bank for you 😂.

I think it is best to apply co-branded card from that App itself.

For me Infinity card was also showing but Both Plus and Infinity is FYF for me, as Annual fee is high, I took RuPay neu plus FYF.
I will use 2-3 months with UPI and then will call customer care to make it LTF else I will close the same 🤣

I closed tata neu first, when they denied conversion to LTF. I got LTF after applying again with diff number.

no to be eligible for infinity variant you need 1.5L limit on your hdfc card

Then don't tak TATA NEU Card as your first HDFC Card, else you'll not be able to get any core card of HDFC afterwards

Ask them to give LTF or tell them you will close account. Go to branch and tell this better.
