Millennia Devaluation coming soon

Hi all ,
We all aware of HDFC updated the lounge access list to DCP card but not in millennia card. As per HDFC , DCP is an upgrade for millennia card ( but in reality that's not true ) . But when we looked on the lounge list DCP have less ( they updated few months back) but millennia have more ( for diners variant ) . But millennia list is outdated one . (I even mentioned in some thread that hdfc will reduce the lounge list for millennia soon)

So I contacted customer care to give the new list or atleast tell the applicable list of lounges in Bangalore. But customer care guy said they don't have any updated list and lounge access for millennia card will be discontinued from Oct 1st . I was shocked . After 30 mins i tried to contact customer care again ( this time different guy and choose English language) . And i confirmed with him also that lounge access for millennia card will discontinued from Oct 1st.

What do you all think ? Is there will be more changes apart from Lounge access ?

Can be, HDFC is reworking on lounges, seems lounges are a major spends for the banks, so no wonder why they would do so.

I don't think they would shut off lounge access completely, but spending threshold will be levied I think.

Still, cannot judge anything for HDFC and Axis before their official announcement. They are like two-faced hypocrites.

But 2 different customer care executive confirmed it will be discontinued completely.

They have introduced new rule for debit cards starting from 1 January. I don't think they will shut off lounge access on cc. maybe they'll introduce 5k spend rule on cc also

I would still wait for an official announcement. Because in HDFC's hierarchy, Cluster Head will tell you one thing, BM will tell another one. And RMs will be so confident, that they believe they can overrule the formers. 😂

That's been my experience so far.

Don't worry. Customer care guys are the last ones to know about any possible changes. Even after customers. Don't believe in their words completely. Small tweaks might be happening. But complete removal? I don't think they're going to implement.

I got. Incase if they removes then definitely gonna change from diners to visa or master card .

HDFC millinnia credit card already devalued.
There is no free lounge access.
If you spend 1 L + in a quarter then you will get 1000/- voucher and then you can redeem it DF voucher for Lounge Access.

Ofcourse, i posted that message on September 7 2023 , devaluation announced on September end or oct starting of last year I guess .
