Diner's Club Privilege at ITR of 5L

I have a LTF Millennia with 99k limit.

(a) can I get DCP under Alumni offer (I'm eligible as per Institute list).
Gross salary is 42k.
HDFC page says eligible salary is 70k.

(b) Is it worth for the effort to move from Millennia to DCP ?

a) It would be hard, but if you have an existing relationship with the bank you can try applying. I have seen people not meet the salary requirement and still get the card (missing by 20-30k works, but you'll have to try and see for your case).

b) At the normal reward rate millennia is better (unless you're spending over 25-30k per month and hitting the point limit). DCP can get you more rewards using the point multipliers, but acceptance of diners club cards is also a problem.

My friend applied with the alumni offer trying for DCB but only got offered DCP. He instead got Millennia and is planning to get the limit enhanced over next few months to apply for DCB using C2C application (existing card with 5L limit).

I mailed hdfc regarding DCP 2 days back along with salary slip & degree copy. havnt received a reply yet. although I dont even think they are going to approve it.

regarding point B, yes I too feel Millennia is somewhat better as I dont need to worry about the points game, and direct cashback in statement. I hardly touch the monthly point limit on Millennia though monthly bill is around 25-40 on that usually as my most use of Millennia is on 1% cashback category as for amazon flpkart I got dedicated card.
so Im not looking now much into the approval by HDFC, keen on getting limit increased on my hdfc as its around 6 months + already since I got the card but no LE offer yet

update :
received reply from HDFC, first they rejected the request saying I dont fulfill internal criteria, but the mail did not mentioned anything about Alumni program.
so I mail them again pointing application to be under Alumni program.
and received a reply that they approve my request for upgrade. need to mail them filled application form.
but they are not offering any Limit enhancement with it. so 99k limit will be for DCP also .

a) so is there still any chance they reject the request after sending application form ?

b) if I apply for addon card while holding Millennia, and later upgrade primary card to DCP. would the addon card also get automatically upgraded to DCP, or it will remain on millennia ?
