Diners Credit Cards Closed? And Infinia Requirements

Today I went to upgrade my brother's Regalia LFT CL 8L to Infinia or DCB. But as per my today's conversation with my Imperia RM. She told last year lot of people where upgraded now the rules are strict. Net salary requirement is 2.25L or if you are Imperia customer then Regalia with at least 8L limit can be tried for upgradation based on spend (not 100% promised though). And the diners cards are not being issues right now only old ones being renewed. I am just sharing the info which I got from the bank. May be she is wrong, not vouching for it.

I got my DCB from HDFC a few days back, I had an offer in my Netbanking portal, I applied and got the card in 48 hours. These RMs absolutely have no idea what is happening, all they want is to make you spend more.

As per our conversation in DMs DCB are issued nowadays but LTF is very hard for DCB atm

Also getting infinia without being a very high NRV customer or having that salary is like 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣

Very well might be, I had options for 3 cards and do note I did not have any other HDFC CC before this. 6E, Regalia, and DBC were the options. I chose DCB. And they had also offered me an upgrade to Preferred customer, but that is not yet completely processed.

Hahhahaha net banking offers are a joke. I am holding Infinia right now and getting an "Upgrade" offer to Millenia

Two weeks back I was also getting the DCB upgrade offer. So may be she was wrong.

you can get LTF DCB under Alumni program. even if you have a paid one currently, you can upgrade it to LTF upon submission of degree certificate

send a mail to priority redressal email id for credit cards to confirm about diners. also mention the name of RM if you want. if it is true what she said, no worries. if not, the RM will face the heat for giving wrong information. very unlikely that an imperia RM gave such information by mistake, and should be escalated.
