Ayone has idea about Diners acceptability in London (especially for contact less tube travel). My parents are going to London and I got my DCB add ons. Wondering if they should keep 1 or 2 more backups.

They definitely need a VISA/MC backup. Diners network is not widely used in the UK. It is accepted only in a few big retail shops/hotels/restaurants. For the tube/public transportation, it is recommended to keep Visa/MC with the contactless function. If you want to use the diner's card, you'd need to purchase an oyster card from the ticketing kiosk. But the oyster card cost £7.
