Diners Privilege Showing Cashback on Smartbuy Instead of RPs

I received my new Diners Privilege card a few days back. I hadn't had a chance to use it yet. Today when I tried to use it on Smartbuy for the first time it is showing that I would get Cashback instead of Reward Points! I tried multiple brand vouchers but it is the same for all GVs. The other cards (Infinia, DCB/M, RG) are showing RPs only. Looks like cashback is 6% on GVs,

I checked and all the Terms and Conditions on HDFC and Smartbuy still say that DCP gets Reward Points and not Cashback.

Does it show the same for anyone else as well? Any experience of anyone buying vouchers or making any purchases recently?

Checked with my 2 month old DCP. Showing same. Have not used it on Smartbuy till now, so dont know how it was previously. For DCB also it’s showing cashback, but DCB Metal, it’s showing Reward points. AGC I buy from amex gyftr. Nothing to buy now from smartbuy. So cant check.

If you buy any gift card, do update regarding the cashback

Reward points usually credited after 4 or 5 working days. Curious to see where in the app or Mycards they will show the cashback. There is no specific area reserved for that

My hdfc debit card spend based offer cashback added to smartbuy ... Same can be checked in payzapp also

I guess they have fixed now,
now it shows you get points worth of Rs 60
